How our brands were formed

One foot in the ancient world, eyes on the future.

Lithuania holds a unique place in the world. It is a country of ancient traditions with a vibrant, edgy style. Whenever my children and I talk about Lithuania, both sides come up: a loving, close-knit atmosphere and a bold, creative scene. Our brands grew out of those conversations.

Love: the Heart of Lithuania

Lithuania's borders naturally form the shape of a heart, and that heart appears throughout our clothing. As the geographical center of Europe, Lithuania truly is the Heart of Europe, the Center of It All. Our heart line of baby gear and clothing comes from a place of love.

Edge: the Skull of Lithuania

Birth connects us to the ancient world and to our ancestors, as we teach our children the traditions of those who came before them. As they grow older, they look for a style of their own. The same map that forms a heart also forms an edgy skull, which runs through our teen and young adult lines.

Tradition, worn today

Our clothing connects the modern world to the past. Traditional patterns from Lithuanian sashes, embroidery and folk flowers are woven into yoga pants, jackets, sweatshirts and more. We make household goods and gifts too, and the Lithuanian hearts work across every line, for infants, teens and grown-ups alike.

Our story

We chose to build our home in the heart of Europe

For twenty years, our family has lived part of every year in Lithuania. Our children are growing up here, between the pine forests of Anykščiai and the lakes that surround it.

I grew up on Nantucket, so traveling from the Island of Nantucket to the Great Island of Rubikiai has been an easy transition. I have always considered Anykščiai to be the Nantucket of the forest. From sand and scallops to the enchanted land of amber and honey.

Lithuania sits at the geographical center of Europe, and for us it became the center of everything. Lithuanian Gifts is our way of sharing the place we love, its warmth, its traditions and its bold new spirit, with you.
